I don't know if this will work, but you have nothing to loose. A colleague of mine recently bought a probook 4320s notebook and tried to update the bios as the cpu fan did not slow down. I've never seen this claim before. I'm experiencing a similar issue, and I'm almost at a loss of words over this. Or at least it's not made public. .
